Natural
Follows the natural growth pattern: shortest at the inner corner, gradually longer, with a soft finish at the outer corner.
PRO TOOL · FREE TO USE
Pick a style, eye shape and peak length to build a seven-zone lash map with a length for every zone, plus curl and diameter. Save it as an image, print it for the client card, or print a blank lash map template for practice.
TRAYS FOR THIS MAP
Every map here is a starting point, not a rule. Adjust lengths, curl and diameter to the client's natural lashes, and check that each natural lash can support the extension you place on it.
HOW TO USE IT
Agree on a style with the client, then select their eye shape. The generator suggests a curl for that combination.
Pick the longest length for the set. Every other zone is calculated from it, so one change updates the whole map.
Download the image or print the map. Keep it with the client's record so the next fill starts from the same map.
THE BASICS
A lash map is a plan for a set of eyelash extensions. It divides the lash line into zones from the inner corner to the outer corner and notes the length, curl and diameter for each zone before application starts.
Mapping keeps both eyes symmetrical, makes the chosen style repeatable at every fill, and shows exactly which trays you need on the cart before the client lies down.
Before you start, mark the highest point of the pupil under the lash line. That mark is the "pupil center" line on the map and the reference for the middle zone. Map each eye separately, because two eyes are rarely identical.
LASH MAP STYLES
Follows the natural growth pattern: shortest at the inner corner, gradually longer, with a soft finish at the outer corner.
The longest lengths sit over the center of the eye to open it up and make it look rounder.
Lengths build toward the outer corner to lift and elongate the eye.
A wider plateau of longer lengths across the middle of the eye, tapering at both corners.
The peak sits between the center and the outer corner, then drops shorter at the very outer edge.
QUICK ANSWERS
There is no single standard, and artists use different numbers of zones. This generator uses seven, which is enough to shape every style here while staying quick to read during application.
Lifted curls such as L, LC or M help extensions show past the lid fold on hooded eyes. Select "Hooded" in the generator and it will suggest LC as a starting point.
Yes. Use "Print blank template" to print both eyes with seven empty zones and fields for client name, date, curl and diameter. It is free to print and share with students.
Usually yes, mirrored. Switch between the client's left and right eye in the generator to see the mirrored map. If the natural lashes differ between eyes, adjust the lengths for each eye.
