The short answer
Diameter determines the visible fiber profile. The complete design also depends on natural lash condition, length, fan width, density and technique.
0.03 mm
Choose it for the finest profile, airy texture and detailed density.
0.05 mm
Choose it for a versatile balance of softness, visibility and control.
0.07 mm
Choose it for clearer individual definition in lighter-volume or hybrid details.

|---|---|---|---|
| Fiber profile | Finest | Fine and balanced | Most visible of the three |
| Overall effect | Airy and soft | Soft with definition | Crisp and defined |
| Styling direction | Detailed density and advanced volume | Versatile volume and texture | Light-volume and hybrid details |

2. How diameter changes the set
Compare diameter, curl and black finish separately to understand what each contributes to the set, then choose the combination.
2.1 Visual density
Finer fibers can give the set a softer appearance. A thicker individual fiber is more visible from normal viewing distance. Assess density across the full map.
2.2 Pickup and control
With very fine fibers, pay close attention to pickup, alignment and base construction. More visible fibers still require consistent isolation and placement.
2.3 Curl and finish
Use the lash curl guide for direction and lift. Then compare Matte Black and Ultra Black for softness or contrast.
3. Check the complete design
No diameter provides a universal fan-count or safety formula.
- Natural lashes: assess visible condition, strength and direction for the individual client.
- Extension length: never evaluate diameter separately from length.
- Fan width and density: the complete construction matters more than one number.
- Adhesive control: base size and adhesive use affect the complete attachment.
- Technique: follow professional training and the manufacturer's product guidance.
4. Choose your finish
Shop the same 0.03, 0.05 and 0.07 diameter range in a soft Matte Black finish or a deeper Ultra Black finish.
